    Inspired by greatness!

    By Kevin | November 19, 2008

I’ve just returned from the CCTV-54 Studio, and I’m definitely inspired! What a blast that was to hang out with these guys and talk about running! The host, Len Houle, did a nice job getting us to share our unique and different experiences with running. Although Olympic Gold Medalist Constantina couldn’t make it (she’s headed to Japan!), her agent was there, Rich Castro was there (Boulder Road Runners President since 1979), and of course, Alan Culpepper (two-time Olympian, and 2004 Olympic Marathon Trials Champion).

I’ll work on getting a copy of the show to post, or at least some clips. I don’t know if I’ll be able to post the entire 1-hr. show. When I get the video to post, I’ll write more about it…I think I’m still processing it all…my wheels are definitely turning.

Oh yeah, Santa? Are you reading this? For Christmas, I’d like a membership to the Boulder Road Runners, and a gift certificate to Alan Culpepper’s new running store, Solepepper Sports. And, maybe the services of Constantina’s agent at Boulder Wave too! Ah, one can only wish, right? More on the show later!
